Refurbishment<\/h3>\n<p>Anything that is technically usable is cleaned, tested and prepared for a second life. This costs money and time: the valuable equipment goes to a dealer, the rest to a recycling company, and both require their own paperwork.<\/p>\n<p>If it is all handled by a single organisation, the consignment is registered, transported and documented just once. In practice, the proceeds from the reusable equipment often cover the costs of processing the rest.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more, it\u2019s sustainable. It changes hands several times along the way. That is precisely where data breaches occur.<\/p>\n<p>We register and process every data storage device before the device moves on.
